We made it!

Well against even my own thinking. I made it across the finish line. Rob did a great job and came in right at the time he had projected. Shauna also did great and finished right on time. As for me, I was happy to cross the finish line. It was a huge accomplishment and I'm running one again in July. This time to clock in at a decent time and for a better PR. It was so much fun and there are so many people that cheer on the runners/walker and little children set up their own water stations it's cute. They hand out gummy bears and jelly beans for energy and keep everyone fueled for the long road. Just when you think you want to turn around and go home your standing on top of the St. Johns Bridge and you can see the city and the distance you've already come and the finish line just down the hill and over the bridge. You take a deep breath and keep running because it's been a beautiful journey. Thank you for all the friends and family that gave us so much support and pushed us to run on days we just did not want to do it. Thank you for believing that it was crazy but that we could do it and we all did! Any one want to join us of the Pacific Crest in July?
